1Day 01: Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station – Gangtok
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, after greetings proceed to Gangtok. Gangtok the capital of Sikkim suits all from tranquillity to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at a height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet (approx.) and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies. Nearly 135 kilometres 4 ½ - 5 hours’ drive. After arriving at Gangtok, you will check in to the hotel/resort. In the evening, you are free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local shopping centre. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

2Day 02: Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir Excursion
After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40km and 2hr drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road. It is situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet. The Lake is an oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep. Generally it is covered in snow for most of the year. This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir which is well known to be a very holy site for all. Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20km and is an optional tour. Later in the evening we will go back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Note: Tour to Nathula Pass (14,000 ft.) on the India-China border can also be arranged (except Monday and Tuesday) for Indian Nationals at an additional cost. Provide your photograph and ID proof to get the Inner Line Permit

3Day 03: Gangtok to Lachen
After having breakfast, check-out from the hotel/resort & drive to Lachen. It is an approx. 135 km long drive which should take 5 to 6 hours to complete. It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow peaks. In fact the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards. The main attractions of Lachen are the snow-capped peaks, Shingbha Wildlife Sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley and Thangu. En-route you will visit Singhik View Point, Chumthang Valley & Seven Sister Waterfalls. In the evening you will check into a hotel/resort. Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village. Overnight stay at Lachen.

4Day 04: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung
After having breakfast you will check-out from the hotel/resort & drive to visit Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. (Note that the altitude here may cause breathing problems so be conscious.) A valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the holy / sacred lake. Next drive through the cold desert till the Tibet - China border. After that return back to the hotel/resort. After that drive to Lachung. In the evening, you will check into a hotel at Lachung. Later you will visit Lachung Monastery. Overnight stay at Lachung.

5Day 05: Sightseeing at Yumthang & transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast you will check-out from the hotel/resort & drive towards Yumthang Valley which is known as Valley of Flowers & Zero Point. Zero Point is also known as Yume Samdong. It is situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet (approx.). On the way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties of skin diseases. Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow covered valleys except in autumn. Return to the hotel/resort at Lachung. After that you will drive to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

6Day 06: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast you will drive for the city tour of Gangtok. You will visit to Bakthang Waterfall, Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, Ropeway & Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok. Later you will return back to the hotel/resort. In the evening, you are free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local shopping centre on your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

7Day 07: Departure
After having breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station for the onward journey.
