After arriving at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, our representative received you & drove to Shillong. Shillong is the capital city of Meghalaya, fondly known as the Scotland of the East. On the way to Shillong we will stop at Umiam Lake, which is located just 15 km before the capital city of Meghalaya. The crystal clear blue lake is about 220 sq. km in radius and surrounded by the beautiful hillocks. The lake also represents the scenic beauty of the state which you will be going to explore here in the next few days. During the summer period the Lake looked lush and vibrant adorned by Gulmohar trees (Delonix regia) in full blossom. The Lake commonly known as Barapani is the best place for picnics and outings. Further, continue the drive to Shillong. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel/resort in Shillong. Evening have a leisurely walk locally. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After having breakfast, check-out from the hotel/resort & start your journey towards Cherrapunjee with lush green mountains viewing numerous waterfalls falling all over on route to Cherapunjeee. En-route visit, Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls, named after an Elephant like stone at its foot, the Elephant Falls are amongst the most popular falls in the North-East. Upon arrival at Cherrapunjee, visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Seven Sisters Falls & amazing Eco Park. Upon arrival check in to the hotel/resort. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Today early morning around 5 am we will drive for a trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, the most brilliant of all the living bridges found in the world. The scenery of the places is beyond description. You will get amazed by walking over the roots which will be quite scary at the start but once u start u will end it with great zeal. The picturesque forest all around, pleasant sound of waterfalls will provide you a different experience with the mesmerizing feeling. Here you will feel the warmth of Mother Nature being somewhere near to Nature Gods Home. Its 3000 step journey (trek) down the hill and the trek starts from Tyrna Village (10km from Sohra, Cherrapunji). The approx. time to complete the journey (both ways) is 5-6hr. After returning from Double Decker Living Root Bridge you will proceed to visit Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India, Mawsmai Cave, Nohsngithiang Falls & Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama. Later return back to the hotel/resort and enjoy the peaceful evening to get rid from tiredness. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Today early morning, start your road journey to Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong was awarded the prestigious tag of 'Cleanest Village in Asia' in 2003. After that, visit Root Bridge & Bamboo Bridge.After Mawlynnong, you will start your journey to the border town of Dawki, a hidden paradise. The driver will keep getting you closer and closer to the Bangladesh plains which you had first spotted from Mawlynnong Village. Umngot River in Dawki is crystal clear & is considered one the cleanest rivers in India. You can enjoy a boat ride in the river (on your own). Later in the evening you will drive to Shillong. Upon arriving at Shillong, check-in the hotel/resort. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After having breakfast, check-out from the hotel/resort & start your journey to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. It was declared a National Park in 1974. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel/resort, later visit nearby Tea Estates. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Early morning around 5:30 am you will explore the central Range of Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari (by own cost). In return, have breakfast & take some rest. In the afternoon around 2:30 pm, enjoy Jeep Safari (at your own cost). You can view one horned Indian Rhino, Asian Elephant, Wild Asian Water Buffalo, Eastern Swamp Deer, Capped Langur, Golden Langur & Hoolock Gibbon (the only ape found in India). After that you will proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati, check-in to your hotel/resort. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel/resort & get ready for the sightseeing of Guwahati. You will visit Balaji Temple & Kamakhya Temple. After that you will proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for the onward journey.
