    Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station – Gangtok

    Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station after greetings proceed to Gangtok. Gangtok the capital of Sikkim suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monasteries, mystic rituals & festivals at a height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet (approx.) and is the most visited spot in India. It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendrons, Orchids, and butterflies. Nearly 135 kilometers 4 ½ - 5 hours’ drive (approx.). After arriving at Gangtok, you will check in to the hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

    Day 02: Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir Excursion

    After breakfast we will drive to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40km and 2hr drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road. It is situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet. The Lake is an oval-shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep. Generally, it is covered in snow for most of the year. This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir which is well known to be a very holy site for all. Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20km and is an optional tour. Later in the evening, I went back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: A tour to Nathula Pass (14,000 ft.) on the India-China border can also be arranged (except Monday and Tuesday) for Indian Nationals at an additional cost. Provide your photograph and ID proof to get the Inner Line Permit

    Day 03: Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing - Darjeeling Drop

    After having breakfast, we will check out from the hotel/resort & we will visit Gangtok (half day sightseeing) You will visit Baktong Waterfall/Banjharkari Waterfall, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tuk, Hangman Tuk & Enchey Monastery. Later we will drive you to Darjeeling. Darjeeling, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga, Darjeeling is among the most popular tourist attractions in this part of India. The beauty of the hill station can be defined by its lush green tea plantations, which are known to be the best in the world. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

    Day 04: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

    Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 a.m.) to view the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Afternoon, go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Japanese Temple, Happy Valley, Tenzing & Gumbu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Later return back to your hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

    Day 05: Departure

    After having breakfast, check out from the hotel/resort & transfer to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station for the onward journey.
